INCIDENT 59/2021 – AUGUST 6th FRI. 17.14 – WHITE SCAR CAVE, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – CAVE INCIDENT

A visitor (f, 20) slipped at the far end of White Scar Cave, sustaining a lower leg injury.  Show cave staff assessed and treated the casualty’s injured leg and moved her to within 300m of the cave entrance. INCIDENT 41/2021 – JUNE 26th SAT. 08.24 – PEN-Y-GHENT (LAST CLIMB TO SUMMIT), NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A Three Peaks walker (f, 34) slipped on the last climb (the second tier) of the ascent of Pen-y-ghent, falling about 3 metres and landing on her hip. INCIDENT 34/2021 – JUNE 18th FRI. 13.52 – WHERNSIDE, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A Three Peaks walker (f, 38) fell on the path to the summit of Whernside at the northern end of the ridge, sustaining a lower leg injury.
