A climber (m, 27) is believed to have been descending around the side of the main climbing area on Giggleswick Scar (South) when he sustained a head injury, caused by a falling rock. A visitor (m, 69) was reported to have hit his head on a rock, near the waterfall at Gordale Scar. Members were called out, but then stood down when YAS advised that their Rapid Response paramedic had assessed the patient and was walking him gently back to the road ambulance. INCIDENT 80/2020 – Nov. 29th Sun. 13.01 – Whernside, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Incident

A walker (f, 14) slipped, then tumbled five or six metres down the steep path, where it leaves the Whernside summit ridge towards Bruntscar, sustaining head and possible elbow injuries.
