A member of the public reported a sheep stuck on a ledge in a disused quarry near Ingleton. The team gave the sheep an opportunity to self-rescue. When it did not do so, team members attended and, having discussed the situation with the farmer, set up a rope rescue system. The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a walker (f, 38) who had slipped on the path whilst walking round the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, sustaining an injury to her ankle and lower leg. Upon arrival on scene the team found that the YAS Paramedics had already treated the casualty and just required our assistance with a short stretcher carry back to the waiting ambulance.
