The team was called by North Yorkshire Police to a walker (M 69) above Malham Cove with a foot injury after falling on a rock and unable to walk. Incident 44/2026. Friday 10th Jul 2026 08:02hrs. Raven Scar, Malham, North Yorkshire
The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a walker (f,69) who had slipped whilst walking near Raven Scar, above Malham Cove. The first team member arrived at the same time as the YAS ambulance crew, who assessed the casualty before the team loaded her into a stretcher for the carry across the fell to the waiting ambulance. A walker (m, 70) was unwell on the limestone pavement at the top of Malham Cove. A Community Safety Officer and a team member were first on scene and the casualty appeared to be recovering.
