The team was alerted by North Yorkshire Police for two missing female walkers believed to be on Penyghent. With darkness falling they had become disorientated after changing their descent route. Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) alerted the team to assist with a walker (F, 65) who had slipped on the path descending to Janet’s Foss and suffered a head injury. After an assessment by a team member she was able to walk the short distance back to the road and taken in a CRO vehicle to Malham car park and transferred to the YAS paramedics. Volunteer hours: 20
