The team provided rescue cover for the annual Three Peaks Mountain race. Almost 1000 runners took part in the open race and team relay events. The team responded to a request from North Yorkshire Police to assist with a dog that had slipped 8 metres down a slope and was stuck on a ledge a few metres above the river. The team responded to a request from North Yorkshire Police to assist with an incident at Springs Wood above Langcliffe. Volunteer hours: 30
INCIDENT 09/2026. FEBRUARY 8TH SUN 14:00 HRS, STACKHOUSE, SETTLE, NORTH YORKSHIRE.
The team were called by north Yorkshire Police to assist with a walker (F 60) who had slipped off a stile sustaining a lower leg injury. Team members assessed and splinted the leg then carried her a short distance to the road. She was then taken in a team vehicle to Settle where a family member would arrange transport to hospital.
