Incident 59/2026. September 7th Mon 12:10 hrs, Malham cove, Malham, North Yorkshire.

The team were alerted by NYP to a report of a male (78 yo) who had fainted whilst walking at the top of Malham Cove possibly due to low blood pressure.

As the team was preparing to mobilise to this incident a second call was received to Thornton Force, Ingleton (Incident 60) requiring a split attendance of team vehicles and team members. CRO 2 was  mobilised to Malham with Settle based members attending.

Following an initial assessment the casualty was placed in a stretcher and brought down from the top of the Cove to CRO 2 and transported back to Malham where the casualty was handed over to relatives to be taken for a medical check-up at hospital.
