The team provided rescue cover for the annual Three Peaks Mountain race. Almost 1000 runners took part in the open race and team relay events. INCIDENT 02/2026. (SAME DAY) 13.16 hrs TOP OF MALHAM COVE, MALHAM, NORTH YORKSHIRE.
A walker (m, 70) was unwell on the limestone pavement at the top of Malham Cove. A Community Safety Officer and a team member were first on scene and the casualty appeared to be recovering. The team were made aware of a person (m 80’s) who had collapsed on the nature trail. As the team were preparing a response they received a further call to say the person had been brought down to Clapham by the nature trail staff and no further assistance was required.
