The team were alerted by our partners at Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to an incident involving a cyclist (M) who had apparently suffered a medical episode. Ambulances had been despatched and we were requested to back up. The team were rapidly alerted but as we were meeting at our depot we were stood down by YAS. Volunteer hours 4

The casualty was a short distance off road and help was needed to transport them back to the ambulance on the road. The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a casualty (m,51) who had become unconscious near the base of Malham Cove. By the time the first team members arrived on scene the casualty was conscious again and being treated by the YAS Paramedics.
