The team were asked by North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) to assist with a person (M, 65) suffering a medical episode close to Garsdale station, a remote location near our team border. A number of other medical resources and the police were also en route. Members were called out and we despatched two vehicles from our depot. We asked our colleagues at Kirkby Stephen MRT for assistance too. Whilst en route to the incident we were stood down by NWAS as an ambulance and other medics were on scene and dealing. We returned to base.
