A visitor (m, 77) with a known heart condition experienced chest pain on reaching the top of the stairs into the Battlefield Chamber, the most remote part of the show cave. A group of walkers told the farmer at Newby Cote that they had ‘heard a lamb stuck down Fife Pot and it sounded to be in distress.’.
