NYP asked for CRO’s assistance with a search in the Clapham area for a missing person who might be at risk. The misper was soon found, unharmed, and team vehicles transported all involved down to CRO Base. Volunteer hours: 22

The Team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist a local farmer when one of her sheep became stuck in a tight water culvert. Despite tempting it with treats the sheep had declined to come out. A small team of members attended and eventually the sheep was safely extracted from the culvert none the worse for the ordeal. INCIDENT 52/2023 JUN. 20th TUES. 10:20 NIDD GORGE, KNARESBOROUGH, NORTH YORKSHIRE. LOCAL INCIDENT
CRO was asked by our colleagues in Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) to assist with a search for a missing person in and around the Nidd Gorge near Knaresborough. A team from CRO attended and joined several other mountain rescue teams in searching areas of potential interest, but the missing person was not located. Volunteer hours: 47
