The team were called by NYP to assist with a 17yr old male with an ankle injury close to the summit of Ingleborough. The team responded and evacuated the male down to Chapel Le Dale for onward transport by the rest of his party to hospital for further examination. We wish him a speedy recovery Volunteer hours: 48
The team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to 3 walkers (2m, 1F) who had become disorientated in mist on the summit of Ingleborough. The party were otherwise uninjured but unable to find their way safely from the summit plateau to the correct path for their downward journey. The Team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to an injured walker (M, 54), close to God’s Bridge near Birkwith. He was suffering from cramps and unable to walk any further.
