The team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to a walker (M, 42) who was close to the summit of Ingleborough, and who had injured his leg. He was unable to walk. His exact location was established, and the team were deployed to assist. Once with the casualty, team members assessed his injury and then stretchered him to our ATV which was at the bottom of the steps on the 3 Peaks route. He was subsequently transported back to our team land rovers and thence back to his own vehicle. He was given advice by our team doctor to seek further medical help as necessary, and was able to drive home with friends. We wish him well.
