The Team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to assist a local farmer with a pregnant sheep stuck on a ledge, on a small crag on the west side of Warrendale Knotts above Settle. The sheep had apparently been there a few days and had not self rescued. Following a reccy of the site with the farmer it was agreed we would attend the following morning to help the animal.…

The team responded to a request from North Yorkshire Police to assist with an incident at Springs Wood above Langcliffe. Volunteer hours: 30
INCIDENT 09/2026. FEBRUARY 8TH SUN 14:00 HRS, STACKHOUSE, SETTLE, NORTH YORKSHIRE.
The team were called by north Yorkshire Police to assist with a walker (F 60) who had slipped off a stile sustaining a lower leg injury. Team members assessed and splinted the leg then carried her a short distance to the road. She was then taken in a team vehicle to Settle where a family member would arrange transport to hospital.
