A walker (m, 48) was reported to be experiencing chest pains just beyond New Laithe on the path from Malham to Janet’s Foss. CRO members responded, but the first to arrive on scene found that the patient had just been loaded into the YAA air ambulance. A Three Peaks walker (m, 60) was reported to have collapsed (believed to be in cardiac arrest), just on to the summit of Ingleborough, having climbed up from Chapel le dale. INCIDENT 36/2022 MAY 28th  SAT. 08.40 Nr GAPING GILL HOLE, CLAPHAM, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A caver (f) attending the Spring winch meet at Gaping Gill was believed to be suffering from appendicitis and CRO was called. Members were despatched by Land Rover and Honda Pioneer, at the same time as the availability of an air ambulance was queried.
