Conflicting reports resulted in YAS paramedics in a Rapid Response Vehicle, a road ambulance and two YAA helicopters plus NYP and 17 CRO team members with two CRO Land Rovers converging on the Snow Falls area of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. A visitor (m, 31), staying at the campsite in Horton in Ribblesdale, went for a late evening run towards Pen y ghent, but took a bad fall somewhere near Hull Pot, possibly at about 23.00 hrs on Saturday. INCIDENT 57/2021 – AUGUST 2nd MON. 17.54 – NEAR SNOW FALLS, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT
A visitor (f, 40) fell on the return leg of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, sustaining leg and head injuries. When the ambulance crew members were unable to find her, YAS called the CRO Duty Controller.
