CRO were called out to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) with an unresponsive person found by a dog walker next to a footpath on farmland near to Low Bentham. INCIDENT 03/2021 – Feb. 4th Thu. 01.04 – Malham Cove, Malham, North Yorkshire. – Mountain Incident
North Yorkshire Police requested CRO’s assistance after they found a missing person (Sadly, deceased.) at the foot of Malham Cove. Team members searched an area at the top of the Cove for personal effects and carried the deceased by stretcher, then by team Land Rover, to the road-head for handing over to the undertaker. FATAL. Along with representatives of all the other MRTs operating across the County, CRO’s ‘Silver’ reps were alerted to a flooding forecast (‘Storm Christoph’) through the North Yorkshire Local Resilience Forum.
