A visitor (f, 29) slipped while stepping from boulder to boulder just below Thornton Force, twisting her knee. After assessment by the team doctor (Sprain rather than dislocation or fracture.), her leg was splinted by YAS paramedics. Three walkers (m, 20, 20, 18) reported themselves lost in thick mist, heavy rain and strong wind while attempting to walk the Three Peaks. NYP were able to provide a grid reference which placed them on Simon Fell, to the NE of Ingleborough.
