A German Pointer  called Frankie fell into the river, between the ‘Pecca Twin Falls’ on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and was stranded on an inaccessible ledge (just below the one on which Meatball was stranded on Boxing Day). While taking his human for a Boxing Day walk on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, Meatball, an Irish Wheaten Terrier, fell about 10m into the river just upstream of Pecca Bridge. Although uninjured, he could not regain the path, so scrabbled out onto a slippery, sloping ledge in a distressed state. INCIDENT 45/2021 – JULY 10th SAT. 13.27 – INGLETON WATERFALLS TRAIL, NEAR ‘TOM’S CABIN’, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A visitor (m, 43) was reported to be fitting, on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail between Pecca Falls and Thornton Force. As team members neared the site, confirmation was received that he was at the ‘Tom’s Cabin’ refreshment hut. INCIDENT 65/2019 – Aug 4th. Sun. 11.42hrs – Pecca Falls, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

Whilst responding to incident number 64, CRO were called to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) with a second incident. A young boy walking round the waterfalls trail at Ingleton tripped whilst stepping over a large lump of protruding bedrock that formed the path surface.
