INCIDENT 16/2026. APRIL 3rd FRIDAY 14.26hrs. PENNINE BRIDLEWAY, SETTLE, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The team were asked by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a walker (F, 58) who had slipped on steep grass on the Pennine Bridleway between Settle and Langcliffe. A walker (f,67) slipped on mud and sustained an injury to her right ankle. Team members based in the Ribblesdale area responded with CRO2 and our all terrain vehicle, CRO4. INCIDENT 07/2022 – FEBRUARY 12th SAT. 12.50 PENNINE BRIDLEWAY, NEAR CLAYPITS, LANGCLIFFE, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

CRO were called out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist them with an incident about half a mile along the Pennine Bridleway from the road head at Clay Pits Plantation. INCIDENT 73/2019 – Aug 20th. Tue. 15.13hrs – Pennine Bridleway, nr Langscar, Malham, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

Two mountain bikers (m, 37; m, 34) hit a large rock, almost simultaneously, and were unseated near the westernmost point of the Settle Loop of the Pennine Bridleway. One appeared to have a shoulder injury and the other was confused after a blow to the head.
