CRO was asked by our colleagues in Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) to assist with a search for a missing person in and around the Nidd Gorge near Knaresborough. NYP called for assistance following the disappearance of a visitor (f, 44) believed to be at risk. As members waited at the RV point, the NPAS (Police) helicopter crew reported sighting the misper, sitting on a hill-side and apparently unharmed, about a kilometre from the point where she had last been seen.
