We were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to an incident on Ingleborough, close to the summit plateau, involving a paraglider who had crashed onto rocks causing leg injuries. Whilst concluding the previous incident at Malham the Team were alerted again by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a potentially serious incident involving a paraglider near to Ribblehead. A paraglider pilot (f, 53) made a very hard landing near Tow Scar, Kingsdale, and was then dragged along the ground by her canopy, sustaining very painful rib and possibly back and pelvic injuries.
