INCIDENT 16/2026. APRIL 3rd FRIDAY 14.26hrs. PENNINE BRIDLEWAY, SETTLE, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The team were asked by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a walker (F, 58) who had slipped on steep grass on the Pennine Bridleway between Settle and Langcliffe. She had sustained a painful ankle injury and was unable to walk. INCIDENT 11/2026. FEBRUARY 23rd MONDAY 12.58hrs. WARRENDALE KNOTTS, SETTLE, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The Team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to assist a local farmer with a pregnant sheep stuck on a ledge, on a small crag on the west side of Warrendale Knotts above Settle. The sheep had apparently been there a few days and had not self rescued. Following a reccy of the site with the farmer it was agreed we would attend the following morning to help the animal.…

INCIDENT 05/2026. JANUARY 11th 17.00hrs. INGLEBOROUGH SUMMIT, CHAPEL LE DALE, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to two walkers who were ‘stuck’ on the summit of Ingleborough. Although uninjured, the two (F, 30 and M, 37) were reported to be very cold and on very steep, icy ground.
