The team were alerted by our partners at Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to an incident involving a cyclist (M) who had apparently suffered a medical episode. The team were asked by our colleagues from Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) to assist with an ongoing search for a dog which had fallen into a rift in a quarry. A small group of our caving members, and some members of our extended cavers list, attended the site to offer assistance. The casualty was a short distance off road and help was needed to transport them back to the ambulance on the road. The team were asked by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a walker (F, 58) who had slipped on steep grass on the Pennine Bridleway between Settle and Langcliffe. She had sustained a painful ankle injury and was unable to walk.
