A woman, walking up the steps next to Pecca Falls became unwell, and lost consciousness. The team were tasked by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist crews in extricating the casualty. A male walker began to suffer chest pain and dizziness whilst ascending Little Ingleborough, beyond Gaping Gill. The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, and a vehicle was immediately dispatched from our base in Clapham, fortunately staffed following a meeting that morning. A female walker slipped and fell descending Pen-y-ghent sustaining a suspected fracture to her right ankle. She was carried by passers-by to within 500m of the road before being met by team members, who were called by North Yorkshire Police. The patient was treated by team casualty carers and given pain relief before a YAS paramedic took over treatment. Team members splinted the casualty’s leg and carried her by stretcher…
