A walker (m, 58) beginning the descent from Little Ingleborough to Gaping Gill tripped on a protruding rock. In falling forward with arms outstretched, he suffered a suspected shoulder dislocation. The walking group leader rang 999, asked for ‘police’, then ‘mountain rescue’ and gave an accurate ten-figure grid reference. INCIDENT 11/2023 FEB. 24th FRI. 12.37 FEIZOR, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A walker (m85) heading towards Austwick on the track from Feizor collapsed due to a suspected cardiac arrest.
