A walker (m, 58) beginning the descent from Little Ingleborough to Gaping Gill tripped on a protruding rock. In falling forward with arms outstretched, he suffered a suspected shoulder dislocation. A walker (m85) heading towards Austwick on the track from Feizor collapsed due to a suspected cardiac arrest. Despite the best efforts of the walker’s companion, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Yorkshire Air Ambulance and CRO, all attempts to revive the walker were sadly unsuccessful. FATAL Volunteer hours: 20
