Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) called the team to assist with an unconscious caver (f, 22) who had fallen on her way to Yordas Cave. In snowy conditions the team assisted YAS with treating the casualty who had regained consciousness and was suffering mild hypothermia. CRO were called to help with an incident in Bar Pot – part of the Gaping Gill cave system under the slopes of Ingleborough. INCIDENT 11/2020 – Feb. 29th. Sat. 12.50hrs – Aquamole Pot, Kingsdale – Cave Incident

A group of 3 caver were abseiling on ropes down the vertical pitches of Aquamole Pot. During their descent, the lead caver fell down the last 12 metre deep pitch of a section of cave known as Rabbit’s Graveyard.
