The team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to an incident involving a young child (M, 11) in Kingsdale. The child, part of an organised group activity, had crawled under a large rock and apparently become stuck fast. A small team was mobilised to assess the situation. A Three Peaks walker who had become separated from his walking partner on Pen-y-ghent reported the person missing to North Yorkshire Police, who notified CRO. As the Duty Controller was making preliminary inquiries so that a search could be conducted, the missing walker turned up near Horton in Ribblesdale. Volunteer hours: 1

The team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to a report of a climber having fallen at Giggleswick Scar North, near Settle. The climber (M, 52) had reportedly fallen some 10m and sustained a head injury. Members were rapidly deployed to the scene to assess the situation.
