A Three Peaks ‘charity walker’, last seen at 07.30 and heard from while ‘descending Whernside’ at 17.20, was reported missing by someone waiting with transport at Horton car park. The team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist a local farmer with a sheep trapped in a small pothole.
