Incident 46/2026. Saturday 11th July (same day) 16:28hrs. Langscar Gate, Malham, North Yorkshire

Whilst the team were deploying to Incident 45 we received a second call from North Yorkshire Police to a walker (m,25) who had fallen whilst scrambling near to Langscar Gate, near Malham Cove. Some team members already on route to the previous incident were diverted to this new incident, whilst more assistance was requested from members who did not deploy initially. Incident 45/2026. Saturday 11th July 15:39hrs. Whernside, Nr Ingleton, North Yorkshire

The team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist a walker (f,64) attempting the Three Peaks walk who had gone over on her ankle and could not weight bare. After an assessment by team RRMTs we splinted her ankle and stretchered her down to Kingsdale, before transporting her to meet her friends in Clapham who took her to hospital for treatment. Incident 43/2026. Tuesday 7th July 14:44hrs. Ingleborough, Ingleton, North Yorkshire

The team were called by NYP to assist with a 17yr old male with an ankle injury close to the summit of Ingleborough. The team responded and evacuated the male down to Chapel Le Dale for onward transport by the rest of his party to hospital for further examination. We wish him a speedy recovery Volunteer hours: 48

INCIDENT 40/2026. FRIDAY 26th JUNE 19:58hrs. INGLEBOROUGH SUMMIT, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to 3 walkers (2m, 1F) who had become disorientated in mist on the summit of Ingleborough. The party were otherwise uninjured but unable to find their way safely from the summit plateau to the correct path for their downward journey.
