North Yorkshire Police called the team out to assist a walker (f,35) who had slipped and injured her ankle on the path below Snow Falls. Team members attended and assessed the casualty, administered pain relief, and splinted the ankle. They then stretchered the casualty to a team Land Rover which took her and her party back to their own vehicle for onward transport to hospital. Volunteer hours: 31

The Team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist with a visitor (F, 24) who had slipped whilst on the Waterfalls Trail and hurt her ankle. She was unable to put weight on the ankle or continue her walk. The team were called by North Yorkshire Police to a report of a walker that had fallen and injured themselves on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. As the Duty Controller was making initial enquiries with staff at the Waterfalls Trail they confirmed that the injured party had managed to get themselves back to the car park, with assistance from passing member of the public. No assistance was required from CRO.
