A walker (f, 61) was reported to have taken a fall, breaking an ankle on the path down from Pen y ghent towards Hull Pot, near its junction with the ‘old Three Peaks route’. As team members responded, YAS advised that an air ambulance had collected the patient and was flying her down to meet the road ambulance on Horton Playing Field. The team stood down. UWFRA forwarded an alert from North Yorkshire Police regarding two Three Peaks walkers who had become separated from a bigger group after losing the path on Ingleborough. Reportedly, they had made their 999 call from a mobile phone with 1% battery. A walker was reported to have broken his ankle after tripping on the return leg of Ingleton waterfalls walk. He was found by CRO team members towards the southern end of Quarry Wood, near to the bridge over the River Doe.
