The team were alerted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a report of a walker (M, 61) having fallen and injured themselves near Malham Cove. Unable to contact the injured party directly, team members were despatched to the area to carry out a search of the Cove area. The Team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist 3 walkers (all F, 67,68,70) who had become disorientated in poor visibility and darkness on the summit of Ingleborough. The walkers, who had fading torchlight and phone charge wisely decided to call us and stay put where they were. We were able to pinpoint their exact location using our PhoneFind tool, and a small party was despatched to find them.…

A number of Team members were assisting with a local fell race on Pen y Ghent, near Horton in Ribblesdale. This is an annual event for our local fell running community, at which we are always pleased to help.
