Incident 42/2016 – Jun 12th Sun. 19.03 – Storrs Common, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

A woman (79) slipped and fell on Storrs Common, having just completed the Waterfalls Walk. A local man called for an ambulance and alerted the team due to the location, knowing access would be difficult for an ambulance. Team members carried out initial treatment of the woman, and splinted her for arm and suspected shoulder injuries, before stretchering her to a waiting ambulance in Ingleton. Incident 41/2016 – Jun 9th Thu. 17.21 – Three Peaks walk, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

The team were contacted by the Police, after the organisers of a charity walk expressed concern for 2 inexperienced walkers attempting the 3 peaks walk as part of an organised fundraising event, last seen on Pen y Ghent at 10.30.
