Cumbria Police requested CRO’s assistance for two young hillwalkers, in separate parties at different locations but part of the same large group, who were going in and out of consciousness. NYP passed on what information they could glean from a broken call from a party of three walkers who said they were so cold that they feared the onset of hypothermia on the descent from the hill they were on.
