A visitor (f, 40) fell on the return leg of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, sustaining leg and head injuries. When the ambulance crew members were unable to find her, YAS called the CRO Duty Controller. Team members soon found the casualty, assessed her, provided pain relief and carried her by stretcher to the YAS road ambulance for the hand-over. Volunteer hours: 33

As team members neared the site, confirmation was received that he was at the ‘Tom’s Cabin’ refreshment hut. A visitor (f, 63) felt unwell, dizzy and possibly dehydrated, soon after passing Snow Falls on the return leg of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. Her husband phoned for an ambulance and YAS alerted the CRO Duty Controller.
