The Team were contacted by North Yorkshire Police (NYP) to assist with enquires and a possible search for two walkers (both M, late 60’s) who had been reported missing overnight having failed to return to their accommodation in Horton in Ribblesdale the previous evening. INCIDENT 4/2024 FEB. 10TH SAT. 2350 HRS. COUNTY POT, LECK FELL, KIRKBY LONSDALE, CUMBRIA, CAVING INCIDENT

The team were called out at 23.50 hrs on Saturday evening by Cumbria Police for an overdue party of nine cavers (7f and 2m – 19 to 22 years) in County Pot, a popular entrance into the Ease Gill system.
