Conflicting reports resulted in YAS paramedics in a Rapid Response Vehicle, a road ambulance and two YAA helicopters plus NYP and 17 CRO team members with two CRO Land Rovers converging on the Snow Falls area of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail.  Investigation showed that there were only three visitors involved and that no-one had fallen in the river, as first reported. A visitor (m, 31), staying at the campsite in Horton in Ribblesdale, went for a late evening run towards Pen y ghent, but took a bad fall somewhere near Hull Pot, possibly at about 23.00 hrs on Saturday. INCIDENT 59/2021 – AUGUST 6th FRI. 17.14 – WHITE SCAR CAVE, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – CAVE INCIDENT

A visitor (f, 20) slipped at the far end of White Scar Cave, sustaining a lower leg injury.  Show cave staff assessed and treated the casualty’s injured leg and moved her to within 300m of the cave entrance. INCIDENT 41/2021 – JUNE 26th SAT. 08.24 – PEN-Y-GHENT (LAST CLIMB TO SUMMIT), NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A Three Peaks walker (f, 34) slipped on the last climb (the second tier) of the ascent of Pen-y-ghent, falling about 3 metres and landing on her hip.
