INCIDENT 66/2021 – AUGUST 22nd SUN. 13.45 – Top of CATRIGG FORCE, STAINFORTH, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT
A walker (m, 80) collapsed near the top of Catrigg Force waterfall. After a thorough assessment by a CRO casualty care trainer he was helped into an insulated casualty bag on a stretcher and carried to a team vehicle. A walker (f, 26) was reported to have ‘fallen and passed out’ on the ‘Settle Loop’ of the Pennine Bridleway, above Langcliffe. Two team members and the YAS ambulance crew were able to reach the casualty in CRO 4, the team’s Honda Pioneer.
