A heavily pregnant ewe was stranded on a ledge at the Western end of Warrendale Knotts, above Settle. The farmer left it, hoping it would self-rescue when it became hungry, but there seemed to be enough grazing to keep it going. After three days, he called CRO via North Yorkshire Police.
