Two mountain bikers (m, 37; m, 34) hit a large rock, almost simultaneously, and were unseated near the westernmost point of the Settle Loop of the Pennine Bridleway. One appeared to have a shoulder injury and the other was confused after a blow to the head. A mountain biker (f, 70) hit a rock on the bridleway from Tennant Gill to Henside and was pitched forward, over her bicycle handlebars, fracturing both of the bones to one wrist. Whilst the CRO Ingleborough Challenge was underway, a collision between a mountain biker and a CRO challenge competitor on a public bridleway was reported to our Control by a check point.
