Settle Health Centre requested CRO’s assistance, through North Yorkshire Police, when nursing staff were unable to reach vulnerable patients at home in Stainforth and Bentham because of overnight snowfall. A team Land Rover and crew took nursing staff to Stainforth but then learned that those in Bentham had managed without CRO’s assistance. NYP requested CRO’s assistance after a member of the public found a person at the base of the cove believed to be deceased.
