Three cavers were reported overdue in one (?) of the caves in the Great Douk / Sunset Hole area, having given a ‘call-out time’ of 15.00. As members were en route across the fell, it was discovered that they had emerged safely before 13.00, but failed to communicate that fact to their safety contact. The team stood down. A caver (m, 21) was reported to have dislocated a shoulder, above the climb in Brow Gill Cave. His companions had attempted to persuade / assist him to descend the climb, but the dislocation was such that this was not possible, so they called for help.
