A climber (m, 30) slipped and fell near the top of a climb, sustaining a serious injury to his right lower leg. His belayer lowered him back to the ground and called for assistance. NYP passed on what information they could glean from a broken call from a party of three walkers who said they were so cold that they feared the onset of hypothermia on the descent from the hill they were on.
