A walker (m 29), training for an attempt of the 3 peaks walk, announced to his colleagues “I think my heart has stopped” and promptly collapsed. He was on the path above Brackenbottom Farm and his colleagues started CPR and kept this going until the arrival of Yorkshire Ambulance Service Paramedics, who were successful in restarting the casualties heart.
