The team was contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service regarding a male walker (72) who had collapsed while out walking with a party of friends. Team members and vehicles attended at the incident site, as did Yorkshire Air Ambulance, YAS, and North Yorkshire Police. We were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to an incident on Ingleborough, close to the summit plateau, involving a paraglider who had crashed onto rocks causing leg injuries. As our members were already ‘on the road’ returning from the previous incident we were able to very quickly divert to the scene. Other Team members were also called out. The Team were requested to assist our partners from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) with a patient (M,60) at Ribblehead, close to the Station Inn. The casualty was a short distance off road and help was needed to transport them back to the ambulance on the road.
