The team were alerted by our partners at Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to an incident involving a cyclist (M) who had apparently suffered a medical episode. The Team were requested to assist our partners from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) with a patient (M,60) at Ribblehead, close to the Station Inn. The casualty was a short distance off road and help was needed to transport them back to the ambulance on the road. INCIDENT 16/2026. APRIL 3rd FRIDAY 14.26hrs. PENNINE BRIDLEWAY, SETTLE, NORTH YORKSHIRE
The team were asked by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a walker (F, 58) who had slipped on steep grass on the Pennine Bridleway between Settle and Langcliffe. She had sustained a painful ankle injury and was unable to walk. The team were called by both North Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a walker (f,52) who had fallen on the path up Gragareth sustaining an injury to her ankle.
