A climber (m) fell from the top of Castlebergh. Two visitors, who had seen him fall, ran down and attempted CPR for about 15 minutes. When the first team member arrived on scene, with a defibrillator, it told them not to shock the patient. A walker (f, 61) was reported to have taken a fall, breaking an ankle on the path down from Pen y ghent towards Hull Pot, near its junction with the ‘old Three Peaks route’. As team members responded, YAS advised that an air ambulance had collected the patient and was flying her down to meet the road ambulance on Horton Playing Field. The team stood down.
