Just as the Team were clearing from the previous sheep rescue incident, we were again called by North Yorkshire Police to assist a walker (F, 52) who had injured her ankle near Thornton Force, on the Ingleton Waterfalls Walk. A visitor (m, 29) sustained an ankle injury, so that he was unable to put weight on it, near Pecca Falls on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. After splinting his ankle, team members assisted the casualty to a Land Rover, parked nearby. This returned him to the Trail car park for his girlfriend to drive him to hospital, on the way home. A visitor (f, 62) was reported to be experiencing chest pains and difficulty in breathing on the outward (western) arm of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, between Pecca Bridge and Thornton Force. A visitor to the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail (f, 54) twisted her ankle on the climb up the steps above Thornton Force, leaving her unable to walk. After assessment by a team doctor, she was splinted and assisted into a stretcher with wheel attached. Team members carefully eased the stretcher back down the steep steps.
