The Team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist with an injured walker (F, 22) who had slipped whilst on the Waterfalls Trail. Team members treated the injury then stretchered her a short distance to the team Land rover. She was then driven to the waterfall’s car park and the party’s own vehicle where friends were able to take her to hospital. We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.…

North Yorkshire Police asked the team to assist with a walker (m, 63) who had slipped and sustained an ankle injury at Scaleber Force near Settle. Team members attended and splinted the ankle. They then stretchered the casualty out of the steep gorge with a backup rope for safety. The casualty was carried to a nearby team Land Rover and driven to his friend’s vehicle for onward transport to hospital.…
