CRO were called out to assist a walker who had fallen and injured her leg, not far from the summit of Whernside. Yorkshire Ambulance Service received a call, saying that a walker (m, 45) was fitting ‘on top of Pen y ghent’. YAS deployed both road and air ambulances, calling CRO as an added precaution.
